Leaping Barra SOLD
The iconic Barra in full flight.
Many fisho’s have seen a Barra leap like this and only to see the lure go flying off and the fish swim away.
They are the masters at doing this and it has been known to cause some heart issues in some anglers and some very colourful language.
This one is 1.3m long and made from a beautiful piece of old bleached figtree wood.
It is a 3d model that spins on a stainless steel stand.
Gills are from a Red Bloodwood tree..
Freshwater Sawfish SOLD
At 2 metres long this fish represents a relatively small version of this endangered species.
They can grow to around 7 metres long.
As they grow towards adults they then move from the upper reaches of the creeks and rivers out into the open salt water.
This one is made from a few different types of wood and in keeping with the sawfish image l have kept the wood colours fairly consistent and then finished with a sealer coat to give the fish a slight lustre to bring it to life.
